Eduardo nació en San José Agua Azul, Guanajuato, el 4 de Julio de 1973. Fue un hombre trabajador y dedicado, siempre manteniéndose ocupado. Trabajó en Sandrays Precision y también realizaba trabajos por su cuenta. Le encantaba poner su música a todo volumen en su bocina y escuchar a sus artistas favoritos, entre ellos Grupo Laberinto y Vicente Fernández, quien era uno de sus grandes favoritos.

Eduardo, conocido como “Charrito”, fue ante todo un hombre de familia. Donde quiera que iba, siempre encontraba la manera de sacarte una sonrisa. Le encantaba convivir y jugar con los niños, y tenía un amor muy especial por su pequeña perrita Roxie, a quien quería muchísimo. También fue un gran aficionado de las Chivas. Cuando jugaban, todos sabíamos que probablemente estaría en algún lugar disfrutando del partido y apoyando a su equipo favorito, luciendo con orgullo su camiseta de las Chivas. Su partida inesperada nos deja un profundo dolor y rompe nuestros corazones. Aunque nos cuesta aceptar que ya no está con nosotros, sabemos que ahora está en paz, dónde quiera que se encuentre.

Siempre te recordaremos, Charrito. Tu sonrisa, tu alegría, tu música y el amor que diste a tu familia y a quienes te rodeaban vivirán siempre en nuestros corazones. Descansa en paz, Eduardo “Charrito”. Siempre serás amado y nunca serás olvidado.

La misa de exequias se celebrará el miércoles 9 de septiembre de 2026 a las 11:00 a. m. en la iglesia católica St. Patrick (2505 School St, Rockford, IL 61101), seguida del sepelio en el cementerio católico Calvary. El velatorio tendrá lugar la víspera, el martes 8 de septiembre de 2026, de 4:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., en Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108).

He loved blasting music on his speaker and listening to his favorite artists—including Grupo Laberinto and Vicente Fernández, who was a particular favorite of his. Eduardo, known as “Charrito,” was first and foremost a family man. Wherever he went, he always found a way to bring a smile to your face. He loved spending time and playing with children, and he held a very special place in his heart for his little dog, Roxie, whom he adored. He was also a huge fan of the Chivas. Whenever they played, we all knew he would likely be somewhere enjoying the match and cheering on his favorite team, proudly wearing his Chivas jersey. His unexpected passing leaves us with deep sorrow and broken hearts. Although it is hard to accept that he is no longer with us, we know he is now at peace, wherever he may be. We will always remember you, Charrito. Your smile, your joy, your music, and the love you gave to your family and those around you will live on forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, Eduardo “Charrito.” You will always be loved and never forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School St, Rockford, IL 61101, with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A night before visitation will be on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108.
