Enrique Bejarano, 84, passed away too soon on August 27, 2026, in Rockford, Illinois. Enrique was born in Atlas, Texas, and after spending time in California, settled down in Rockford, Illinois with his family in 1969. He worked for Chrysler for 30 years before retirement. Enrique was a devoted husband, loving father, considerate brother, and a caring grandfather. His life was cut short, and he will be severely missed for his simple, protective demeanor of his family, long and interesting conversations, and his love for the Chicago Bears.

He will be missed by those who loved him most, his wife of 20 years, Elena; his daughter Martha (Dave) Dare of Mexico; his sons George (Sheila) Bejarano of San Antonio, Texas, Alex Lerma of Rockford, Illinois, Jasive (Carlos) Banvelos of Rockford, Illinois; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
