Heidi Marie (Erbe) Dettman – an extraordinary educator, dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend- died on May 13, 2026, at the age of 45 in Rockford, Illinois, after a courageous battle with stage four colon cancer.

A time to gather and honor Heidi’s life will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Tebala Event Center, 7910 Newburg Road, Rockford, Illinois 61108. Attendees are welcome to begin arriving at 5:00 p.m. for the memorial dedication at 5:30 p.m. A time for fellowship will follow the dedication until around 8:00 p.m.
