John Chrzanowski, 68, of Rockford, passed away on September 3, 2026, in Rockford. He was born on May 15, 1958, in Rockford, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Janas) Chrzanowski. He worked at Roper Whitney and Perfetti Van Melle (the gum factory). 

John enjoyed slot car racing and auto racing. He enjoyed going to auto shows, trade shows, and Road America in Wisconsin with his father.

He is survived by his siblings, Jim (Jan) of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Janet of Danville, Illinois, Paul of Livermore, California, and Barbara of New York City, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents.

No services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded.
