Karen M. (Gustafson) Ambrosia, 80, a Rockford native, passed away in her hometown on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was born on July 17, 1946, the daughter of Lloyd and Lucille (Kulpa) Gustafson. She married John Ambrosia in 1965 and remained married until his passing in 2007.

She is survived by her son Guy and April Ambrosia and her daughter, Angela and Jeff Agundez, her grandchildren Robert and Austin (Guy and April) and Jessica and Isabella (Angela and Jeff) and many Great Grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, John Ambrosia. She was surrounded by her closest friends Harley and Erika.
