Kor Phothiboupha, 61, passed away on July 6, 2026, peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 14, 1964, in Laos, the son of Phoumy and Keo Phothiboupha. He married Manivone Phoumy on August 5, 2015, in Rockford, IL.

Kor was a member of LEFC for many years. He is known by all for his genuine kindness and sweet nature. He was a talented golfer in the Rockford community. In his free time, he loved to play the guitar and enjoyed walking outdoors. Above all, Kor enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Manivone; his children, Sam, Bebe (Devan) DeLorme, Kayla Phothiboupha, and Sonxai Phothiboupha; his grandchildren, Camila and Kyrie; his siblings, Salithphonhm, Koraphonh Phothiboupha, and Nouthala Phothiboupha; his sister-in-law, Lammone Onkeo; brother-in-law, Sounthone Phoumy; and brother-in-law, Phet Onkeo. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

A visitation for close friends and family will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Private burial at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Lao Evangelical Free Church, 5881 35th Street, Rockford Il, 61109.
