Sandra Mary LaBore, age 88, passed away Wednesday May 27th, 2026, at Alpine Fireside under the care of Northern Illinois Hospice. Sandy was born November 22,1937 in Rockford IL at Swedish American Hospital to Alfred and Gladys (Johnson) Krause. She lived her entire life in Rockford but enjoyed spending summers at Lake Wisconsin in the cottage her parents built in 1955, and winters in Ft Myers Fl and Mesa Arizona watching Cubs spring training. She graduated from Rockford East High School and married Gerald (Jerry) Anderson. Sandy and Chuck LaBore were married January 7th, 1995.

Surviving relatives include sons, David Anderson (Julie), The Villages Florida, Matthew Anderson Portage WI, and Chuck's Son, Peter LaBore Naperville IL; grandchildren, Alicia (Ryan) Carlton, Jonathan (Julie) Anderson, and Audrey (Walker) Talley; great grandchildren, Josephine and Evelyn Carlton, Natalie Anderson, Khalia and Scarlet Talley.

Preceded in death by first husband, Jerry Anderson, March 1980, and Ralph (Chuck) LaBore, February 21st, 2026; parents, Alfred and Gladys (Curly) Krause.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation will be held at noon until time of service at the funeral home. Sandra’s remains will be spread at a private family prayer service on Lake Wisconsin at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donation can be made to Dementia Society of America.
