Teddy Wayne Cattage, 62, of Rockford, passed away on September 28, 2026. He was born in Toney, Alabama, on August 20, 1964, the son of Ted and Shirley (Harris) Cattage. Wayne is a graduate of Skyview High School, class of 1982. He married Lori White on June 28, 2020. 

Wayne enjoyed playing cards and was very active in his grandkids lives. 

He is survived by his wife, Lori; son, Marcus Wayne Cattage; stepchildren, Todd Cattage, Theo Cattage, and Sky (Mark) Keckler; and grandchildren, Trew Newsome, Talana Newsome, Dakota Newsome, Taelynn Newsome, Tiara "Granny" Newsome, Tytus Newsome, Gage Newsome, Major Newsome, Trey Newsome, and Titan Newsome. 

A visitation will be on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108, with a graveside service to immediatly follow at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
