Agustin Carmona, age 72 of Rockford, IL passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022.
He was born in San Jose Agua Azul, Mexico on May 28, 1949, son of Bruno and Juana (Huerta) Carmona. Agustin married Nancy A. Bonetti in Madison, WI on August 2, 1983. He worked as a machinist for Eklund Metal Treating, Inc. for many years. Agustin was a lifetime member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; 2 brothers, Jose Luis and Antonio; 6 sisters, Yolanda, Elena, Beta, Margarita, Auxilio and Catalina; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Agustin is predeceased by his parents and brother, Alberto.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. located at St. Edward Catholic Church, 3004 11th Street Rockford, IL 61109.
