Aileen M. Wrend

Aileen M. Wrend, 88, of Rockford passes away Friday, April 8, 2016 in her home. Born May 6, 1927, in Antigo, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Jessie (Cornwell) Morgan. Aileen married Gerald Wrend on September 21, 1947 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Survived by her husband, Gerald; daughters, Amy Crave, Teresa Konkel and Janet Wrend-Cleary; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Dempsey, son, David Wrend, sister, Eva Singer and sister, Betty Cotterman.
No services will be held at this time. A burial in Roselawn Cemetery, Monona, Wisconsin will take place at a later date. Memorials in Aileen’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or OSF Hospice. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family.
