Alan E. Diehl, Jr.

Alan E. Diehl, Jr., 52 of Rockford passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 in his home. Born December 4, 1955 in Freeport, IL the son of Alan E. Diehl, Sr. and Lorraine (Fellows) Indermill. Alan was an avid sports fan. He loved the Cubs, Bears and the Bulls. He also enjoyed country music and was associated with the Seed Band and Slick Nickel. Alan is survived by his parents, daughters Alana Diehl, Heather Vaughn and three grandchildren with one on the way. Sister Marilyn OBrien, brother Kevin Lee Diehl, sister Karen (Pete) Vargas, two nieces, two nephews and numerous loving cousins. Funeral Service will be August 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with the Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family and has been established in his name.
