Amanda E. Hoffman

Amanda E. Hoffman, 28, Machesney Park, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, in her home. She was born July 3, 1986, in Rockford, the daughter of Herbert and Carol (Lindquist) Hoffman. She was a 2004 graduate of Harlem High School. Worked as a waitress for many years at her mother’s restaurant, The Morning Blossom. She also loved her job at Rascal’s Bar & Grill. Amanda was a mother, a daughter, a sister and a granddaughter who shined within everyone’s heart with her beautiful spirited soul. She was her daddy’s little sunshine and her mama’s pride and joy. Amanda surrounded her life with music which was her first passion. She also loved to draw, especially pictures for her children. Amanda’s children were her happiness and she enjoyed riding bikes and walking through the neighborhood with them. She was loyal to those she loved and would give her heart and soul to make you happy and see your smile.
Survived by her mother, Carol Bunting; father, Herbert Hoffman, Jr. (Kiley) ; beautiful daughter, Arianna Moeller; loving son, Tristan Maurchie; sisters, Kari Bunting, Samantha Hoffman, Brianna Gonzalez & Jamie Lily; brothers, Jason Hoffman, Dylan Hoffman, Richard (Dawn) Bunting, Jr., Derek (Kris) Bunting and Mark (Stephanie) Bunting; grandmother, Dawn Alms; favorite little niece, Selena; aunts, Janet (Robert) Tipton and Rachelle (Isreal) Leyva, Anita Alms and Maria Alms; uncles, Mark (Lisa) Lindquist, Shawn Alms and George Hoffman; several cousins, especially, Natalie and Paige and lifelong friends, Huong, Ania and Sarah. Predeceased by her grandparents, Eleanore (Walter) Williams, Sandra Sherman, Herbert Hoffman, Sr. and Gregory Alms.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, 61108, with Reverend Dean Parker officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
