Andrew Lockner

Andrew Lockner, 85, of Rockford, passed away on December 1, 2021. He was born on September 20, 1936 in Lemmon, South Dakota, the son of Andrew and Alice (Hardesty) Young. He married Patricia on June 15, 1958 in Rockford.
Andrew owned the gas station Penny Pincher in Rockford. Andrew was a handy man, he enjoyed restoring new cars and going to work. He also bred horses and loved spending time with his grandson, Cody and his special helper Dawn Bloomfield.
Andrew is survived by his daughter, Andrea Lockner of Rockford, Andy Lockner of Rockford, his grandson, Cody Furman and siblings, Gary Young and Vaughn Young.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Loraine Carren, wife, parents, daughter, Kimberly Furman and infant son, Kelly Lockner.
Memorials may be given to Rockford Rescue Mission.

A celebration of life will be held at BJ's, 2842 11th St. in Rockford on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
