Angela L. Boss

Angela Lynn "Angie" Cronk Boss, 35, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, in her home. She was born January 5, 1977, in Dixon, the daughter of Donald and Margaret (Patterson) Cronk. She married Kevin Jay Boss in Rockford on November 8, 2003. Angie attended Memorial Baptist Church. She worked as a CNA for various nursing homes in Rockford including Rosewood Care Center, Asta Care Center, River Bluff Nursing Home, and Alden Alma Nelson Manor. Survived by her husband, Kevin; stepchildren, Dustin, Andrew and Kayla; mother and father, Warren and Margaret Smith of Byron; sisters, Rosalie Otten of Byron, Linda (Jim) Auth of Oregon, and Jennifer Smith; brother, Stephen Smith; brotherinlaw, Harry Lawrence of Rockford; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and many special friends. Predeceased by her father, Donald Cronk and her maternal and paternal grandparents.Private family services will be held at a later date. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the family.
