Angeline M. Harrigan

Angeline M. Harrigan, 93, of Rockford passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born on December 14, 1919 in Rockford, the daughter to Peter and Theresa (Zanocco) Gaspari. She graduated from Rockford Business College. She married Roy C. Harrigan, Jr. Angeline was a devout Catholic and a Charter member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was involved in the Ladies of St. Bernadette, Catholic Women's League and the Senior Citizens of St. Bernadette. To say Angeline was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, is an understatement. Angeline is survived by her husband, Roy; son, Bradley (Diane) Harrigan; grandchildren, Shannon Harrigan and Brian (Tanya) Harrigan; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Harrigan; sisters, Irene Pauletto and Cornelia Gastner and numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Alice Bloom who was always there for her. Predeceased by her parents, and sisters, Catherine Cebas, Elizabeth Bloom and Esther Gaspari. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Avenue. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until time of prayer at 9:45 a.m. prior to the mass in the parish hall on Thursday. Entombment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
