Ann E. Parlapiano

Ann E. Parlapiano, 43, of Rockford, passed away, Monday, January 29, 2018 in her home. Born February 10, 1974 in Rockford; she was the daughter of David A. and Ellen L. (Giovingo) Parlapiano. She married Kit Schoonmaker on May 14, 1995 in Chicago.
Survivors include her wife of 22 years, Kit Schoonmaker; father, David (Linda) Parlapiano; brother, Michael (Stacey) Parlapiano; step-sister, Brynn Voss; step-brothers, Cain and Noah Voss; grandmother, Lucille Giovingo; her beloved Chihuhuas: Ella, Lucy, Sammi and Bea; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was recently preceded in death by her mother and grandmother, Rose “Grandma Roses” Parlapiano.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N 2nd St, Rockford. Visitation from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd, Rockford. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ann’s medical cost is appreciated. All are invited to a luncheon (wake) following the burial at the Venetian Club, 2180 Elmwood Rd, Rockford.
