Anna Gilmour

Anna Gilmour, 94, of Rockford, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Emeritus Assisted Living Center. Born May 22, 1917 in Rockford the daughter of August and Josephine (Stadler) Rund. Graduate of Bishop Muldoon High School and married her loving husband William Gilmour on May 6, 1939 in Rockford at St. Mary Catholic Church. A 50 year member of St. Edward Catholic Church and was always devoted to her family. A heartfelt thank you to her caregiver Dianne Larson and OSF Hospice and Home Care for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Anna. Survivors include her son, Robert (Cheryl) and daughter, Patricia (Bruce) Schueller both of Rockford; grandchildren, Christine (Lance) Summey, James Gilmour, Richard (Rose) Frank, William (Karly) Frank, Elizabeth (Tim) Harrison, Diana (Jack) Schrom and Kathryn Schueller; 7 great grandchildren and cousin, Albert (Alberta) Stadler of Rockford. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Mary Ann Frank in 2007. Funeral Mass, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 3004 11th St. Rockford with visitation from 9 a.m. until time prayer at 9:45 a.m. Interment will be held in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
