Rockford – Anna L. Dunahay, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Presence Cor Mariae Center. Born August 13, 1917, in Rochelle, IL, the daughter of Wesley & Grace (Bruns) Boomgarden. Graduated Monroe Center High School. Married Roland W. Dunahay, in Rockford, on December 31, 1941. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1999. She was a member of Spring Creek Congressional Church. Anna enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, golfing, where she made a hole in one, most of all she loved spending time with her family and granddaughter. She is survived by daughters Holly Mae Wirth and Carol Ann (Michael) Lutzow; granddaughter Heather Ann (Bob) Boyer and great grandson Brandon Boyer. She is predeceased by parents, husband, two sisters, two brothers.
