Anthony J. Domino, 58, of Chicago, IL passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Born September 9, 1963 the son of Anthony and Margaret (Graham) Domino. After graduating from Northern Illinois University in 1986, Tony spent 5 years in Italy as an English Instructor at John Hopkins University in the city of Bologna. He spent the remainder of his professional career in the Travel Industry; with the past 21 years as a Travel Director & Tour Coordinator for Collette Travel & Tours Inc. Tony was a Certified Licensed Tourist Guide for many cities in Italy, but traveled the world for both professional and personal pleasure. His trips include adventures to India, Turkey, Tibet, Cuba, British Isles, Sweden, Mexico, Canada, Israel, Jordan, most European countries, most States in the US and some Baltic countries. Genealogy has long been a passion for Tony. His love for family history began after traveling to Italy with his Grandmother, Lucy Ingrassia Domino. Since the early 80's and until his last days, he researched both sides of his family lineage, sharing stories of the great successes and hardships of our kin before us. His extensive list of family friends reaches through multiple generations. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Jean Domino, four sisters, Joan (Tim) McDougal of Cornville, AZ; Kateri Domino of Rimrock, AZ; Lucy Jacobs of Chicago, IL, Maryjo (Mike) Seger of Winnebago, IL; three brothers, John (Margo) Domino of Rio, WI; Paul Domino of Freeport, IL; Edward Domino of Freeport, IL and 12 nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Church with family friend, Father David Beauvais officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the Church from 10:00 am until the time of service. If unable to attend the service, please go to Zoom.us with Meeting ID: 889 5174 9255 and Passcode: 12345 to watch the service virtually.
