Argie J. Maule

Argie Maule, 94, of Rockford died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Sienna on Brendenwood. Born June 13, 1918 in Bisuschio, Italy the daughter of Abraham and Catherine (Matteazzi) Dal Santo. Married her loving husband Remo A. Maule on July 7, 1945 in Rockford. A faithful member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church for several years. Argie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother with a heart of gold and a fighting spirit, she will be missed greatly by all. Survivors include her son, Gene (Judy) Maule of Rockford; step grandchildren, Angela (John) Hammack, Tona (Chris) Johnson and Erica (Paul) Gebbia; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hammack, Kyrkan, Hudson, Alethn Johnson and Atalie Gebbia; numerous nieces and nephews; special great niece, Ella Hammack and brother, John (Ann) Dal Santo. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Remo in 1995 and sister Ida Bernardo. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and residents at Sienna, In Home Health Care and to VNA Hospice. Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave with visitation in the Parish Hall from 9 a.m. until time of prayer at 9:45 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Visiting Nurses Hospice, 4223 East State St. Rockford, IL 61108. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford chapel is assisting the family.
