Arlyne C. Foltz, 82, Rockford, died surrounded by her family at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born January 27, 1926 in Blanchardville, WI. daughter of Arthur and Cora Walford Schindler. Graduated from Blanchardville High School in 1944. Married Robert L. Foltz on May 15, 1946 and together they founded Foltz Transmissions. She was a member of the Independent Business Owners Association. Arlyne was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family. Survivors include her children, LeeAnne (John) McLeod, Rockford, Danny (Shirley) Foltz, Winnebago, David Foltz, Loves Park, Randy (Terri) Foltz, Rockford and Rod Foltz, Rockford; grandchildren, Stacy, Joshua, John, Matthew, Daniel, Christopher, Rian, Michael, Nicholas, Brittany and Sarah. Also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Samantha, Kylie and Justin; sister, LaVera Hall; nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Janet Kimberly and Lynette Huffman and special friend, Wanda Presson. Predeceased by her husband on January 19, 1992, her parents, and her brother, Delbert Schindler. The Funeral Mass will be offered by Father Federspiel at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 in St. Edward Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of the Mass at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Condolences may be extended at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
