BELOVED WIFE AND AUNT

Audrey J. Easton Aunt Dodie, 82, Rockford, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.nbsp; She was born January 31, 1931, on a farm in Davis Junction, the daughter of Iver and Alva (Schumacher) Peterson.nbsp; Audrey married Donald F. Easton on June 13, 1953, in Rockford.nbsp; She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.nbsp; Audrey worked for 35 years in the medical field.nbsp; She loved to babysit, cook, shop and read.

Survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Donald; nieces, Kathy (Kevin) Williams, Rachele (Shawn) Edwards, Kelsey Edwards, Aubrey Dunn; nephews, Ryan (Katherine Wadsworth) Dunn and Kyler Edwards, all of Rockford; several other nieces and nephews: her aunt and uncle; and her sisterinlaw, Doris Peterson . Predeceased by her parents and her brother, LaVerne L. Peterson.nbsp; Special thanks to the staff on 8 West and Rachele for all of her support and care.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Zion Lutheran Church, 925 5 th Av. with Rev. Dr. Michael Thomas officiating.nbsp; Visitation from 9:30 am until 10:15 am on Saturday at the church. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
