Audrey Lucille Rose Porter, 93 Rockford Audrey Lucille Rose Porter, 93, died at home with her family at her side on Monday, June 7, 2010. Audrey was born May 3, 1917 to William and Daisy (Potts) Scharf in Courtenay, North Dakota. Audrey married Troy L. Porter on January 1, 1972 and they were members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors; Husband, Troy; Children, Troy (Lynn) Porter Jr., John (Gail) Porter, Dorothy (Gary) Farr, Pat Schwalenburg; 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren; Sister Ethel Moritz and nieces and nephews Jim (Lois) Glessner and Emmett (Nancy) Porter. Funeral Service 12 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd 1829 N. Rockton Ave, Rockford, Il 61103with Pastor Kathy Whitney officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation from 11 a.m. until 11:45 Thursday morning at Church. Memorials may be made to the church.
