Barbara Kelley

Barbara D. Kelley, 89, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Highview in the Woodlands. Born July 7, 1922 in Rockford; daughter of John and Mabel (Maffioli) Sadewater. Married William Kelley on October 5, 1945. Barbara always put her family first and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and baking. She also loved taking trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Highview in the Woodlands and Beloit Regional Hospice.

Survivors include her sons, William (Janice) and Steve (Barbara) Kelley; daughters, Lynn Beaver and Carol (Henry) Crocker; grandchildren, Bill and Todd Kelley, Tim and Christine Kelley, Marcia Marlow, Cheryl Clint and Kelsey Crocker and 6 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, husband and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 6 and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday, June 7 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
