Barbara L. Nelson, 50, Rockford, passed away on January 5, 2013. She was born on October 9, 1962 in Rockford; the daughter of Robert and Marjorie Jean Sherertz. Barb is survived by her mother, Marjorie Sherertz; sons, Jimmy Bowen and Dylan Nelson; siblings, Richard Sherertz, Nancy Sherertz of Anchorage, Ak, Allen (Angelia) Sherertz of Wichita, KS and Brenda Rose; special friend, Dan Johnson of Machesney Park; nieces, Rebecca A. Rose, Stephanie A. Thrush, Rachel L. Sherertz, Maritza RodriguezSherertz; and nephews, Brandon D. Rose, Scott A. Sherertz, Richard D. RodriguezSherertz.
Predeceased by her father, Robert and greatniece, Olivia Taborn.
Private family services will be held.
