Beatrice "Bea" J. Mutz

Beatrice “Bea” J. Mutz, 91, Rockford, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, in her home. She was born April 19, 1927, in Fond du lac, WI, the daughter of Harry and Marguerite (McCormack) Keys. Bea married Joseph E. Mutz in Fond du lac, WI on July 29, 1950. He passed away on December 16, 2000. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she served on the Woman’s Guild and was active in the Catholic Women’s League. She volunteered with the St. Anthony Catholic Church Auxiliary.
Survived by her children, Mark (Stephanie) Mutz of Tallahassee, FL, Jane West of Loves Park, Andrew (Rebecca) Mutz of Littleton, CO, Steven Mutz of Jefferson, WI, and Karen (Paul) Green of San Pedro, CA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Keys of Plymouth, WI; her sister, Marguerite “Peg” Keys of Kaukauna, WI; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph, her great-grandson, Chad Joseph Martin; her sister-in-law, Gladys Keys and her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Frank Shaw.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford. Visitation from 9:30 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
