Benjamin J. Leider

Benjamin (Ben) Leider, 75, currently of Rockford and formerly of Evanston, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2009. Ben was a naval veteran prior to working and retiring from Northern Illinois Gas/NICOR after 42 years of service. Loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn, son, Dan (Nan), daughter, Susan (Carlos) Molina; grandchildren, Megan and Sean Leider and sisters, Angeline, Marian and Marcella. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Frank, Suzanne, Evelyn and Eugene. Funeral service Sat. April 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Monsignor Thomas E. Bales officiating with visitation from 10-11 in the funeral home. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park.
