Benny O. Nielsen

Benny O. Nielsen, 82, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born on May 24, 1928 in Denmark; the son of William and Hilda Nielsen. Married Vanda Malik in Maryland on December 8, 1956. Benny worked for Dean Foods in maintenance as the electrician. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vanda; children, Bennita Nielsen, Jon Nielsen, Bayoan Lamberti and Marina Lamberti; nephew, Kurt Heintz; sister, Kate Rogers and mother-in-law, Zdenka Malik.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am Monday, June 21 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Michel E. Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-10am Monday at the church.
