Bettie Jane Garner

Bettie Jane Garner, 83, of Rockford passed away December 4, 2007. Born November 11, 1924 in Centralia, IL the daughter of Louis and Freda (Hellmeyer) Gierten. Bettie married Milton Garner on October 5, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, MO. nbsp; Bettie volunteered at the Chicago Botanical Gardens and was a very active member of North Northfield United Methodist Church in Northbrook, IL for over 60 years. She also loved traveling and camping with her family. nbsp; Bettie is survived by her husband Milton, children Rob (Angela) Garner, David (Ann) Garner and Sarah (Dennis) Barker. Grandchildren Molly and Emma Barker, Adam and Zachary Garner and Kaelyn Garner. She is predeceased by her parents. nbsp; Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 in North Northfield United Methodist Church, 797 Sanders Road, Northbrook, IL 60012.
