Beverly C. Corsolini

Beverly C. Corsolini, 78, Rockford, died Wednesday August 28, 2013 in Rockford Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Born July 23, 1935 in Winona, MN, daughter of Waldemar C. and Dorothy F. (Fuchs) Buchli. Attended Harlem High School. Married Joseph D. Corsolini in Oregon, IL on December 23, 1953. Member of St. Bernadette Church. Bev had an infectious sense of humor whose home and heart were always open to others. She loved gardening, her cat, Gracie and her Cruiser. Her love of family was above all else, and she was especially dedicated to her granddaughter and best friend, Elizabeth. She had been lovingly known as "Punky" to her father, who she had a special relationship with.

Survivors include her children, Dino J. (Valorie) Corsolini, North Prairie, WI, Gina M. Corsolini, Loves Park and Jodi A. (Steve) Eichelberger, Roscoe; granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Corsolini; sister Barbara (Dowell) Calvert, Pewaukee, WI and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband on August 28, 2012, her parents, her granddaughter, Emily Eichelberger and her brother Maynard Buchli. Bev's family would like to thank the staffs of the ICU and the Emergency Room at Rockford Memorial Hospital for the wonderful, compassionate care that she received.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 in St. Bernadette Church. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitatiion from 5-7 p.m. on Friday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. and from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday in the church.
