Beverly Jane Jackson

Beverly Jane Jackson 85 of Rockford passed away Friday November 14, 2014 in her home. She was born October 12, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Harry T. and Helen L. McNamara. She married William C. Jackson on July 7, 1956, William predeceased her in 2001. Member of Christ United Methodist Church. Former Longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church. Member of Chapter ET P.E.O. Former member of Forest Hills Country Club, Rockford Women’s Club and Alpha Phi Sorority. Beverly loved her Gourmet Lunch Group, other luncheon groups, and her Bridge Clubs. She loved Golf, Tennis, wintering in Florida and her summer cottage in Wisconsin. She was a graduate of DePauw University with a BA in Home Economics. She found great joy by spending time with her family and dear friends.
Survivors include her three children, Jill Jackson of Rockford, Jay (Paula) Jackson of Naperville and Jan (James) Klima of Denver. Grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin and Daniel Jackson. Abby, Kathryn and Michael Klima. Two brothers, William (Sue) McNamara and Jack (Elaine) McNamara. Predeceased by her parents and her husband.
Memorial service at 11am Friday November 21, 2014 in First Free Church 2223 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107 with Pastor Bertie Holmgren officiating. Private family burial. In lieu of flowers memorial to Young Life, YoungLife.org or PEO Chapter ET, Donations.PEOinternational.org
