Bradley D. Elmer

Bradley D. Elmer, 53, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born January 1, 1965, in Beloit Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Diane (Kolstad) Elmer. Brad married the love of his life, Vickie (Sharp) Elmer on October 26, 1985. He worked as the operations manager for Harder Corporation for over 30 years. Brad was a selfless man who would do anything for anyone. He was an incredibly skilled handyman, chef and grill master. Brad enjoyed family gatherings, specifically game nights and the Fourth of July. Above all, Brad was a proud family man and will be forever remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Survived by his wife, Vickie; children, Kyle (Brittany) Elmer and Becca Elmer; grandchildren, Caleb and Wyatt Elmer; parents, Robert and Diane Elmer; sister, Lisa (Bill) Earls; twin brother, Brian (Tricia) Elmer; father-in-law, Robert Sharp; mother-in-law, Carolyn Sharp; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Mike) Mastrangeli and Pam (Ramiro Gonzalez) True; special nephew Hunter True and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Heartland Hospice, especially Korin Peck.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be held at 10:00 until the time of service Monday January 15, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel.
