Carol Sue Wolf

Carol Sue Wolf, 74, of Rockford, IL, passed joyfully into the Kingdom of Heaven on June 19, 2022, following a five-year battle with cancer.
The only daughter of loving parents Carl and Pauline Kee, Carol was born in 1947 in Jonesboro, AR, moving to Rockford at a young age. After graduating from West High School, Carol married the love of her life, Don Wolf, in 1970. In 1973, she gave birth to her beloved only son, Aaron, who filled her days with happiness.
Carol faithfully served at Berean Baptist Church and School for 20 years, then she served as receptionist at Rockford Rescue Mission for over 20 more.
Carol put family above all else. Her love for her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren was evident to all. She served her Savior through her family and acquaintances. She kept a perfect yard and house, always full of flowers. She loved and served her husband for 50 years.
Carol will be dearly missed by her daughter-in-law, Lorrie, and grandchildren, Augustine, Katherine, Carl, Nora, Josie, and Peter, and by her aunts, Nell Tanker and Gertie Parkin. She was predeceased by her husband, son and parents. Their reunion in Heaven has been a joyous one.
A special thank you goes out to the staff of the Cancer Center at MercyHealth–Rockton for their amazing care during her cancer battle, and to the staffs of Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center and ProMedica Hospice, who made her last days comfortable.
