Catherine J. Billie Haley died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Provena Cor Mariae Center.nbsp; Born January 13, 1921 in Rockford, daughter of Antonino and Giovanna Prinzevalli Bilardello.nbsp; Graduated from Muldoon High School in 1938. Married Joseph W. Haley on September 16, 1944 at Saint James Catholic Church by Bishop Emeritus Arthur J. ONeill, DD.nbsp; She worked as an inspector at Woodward Governor and Sundstrand, retiring from Bergners Distribution Center.nbsp; She was a lifelong member of Saint James Catholic Church, Rockford, where she served as lector and volunteer.nbsp; Her priorities were God and family.nbsp; She enjoyed walking, reading, music, people and golf.nbsp; She especially loved her trip to Italy to see family, her trip to Hawaii and also traveling to nbsp;Ireland with her niece Maggie after Joe died.nbsp; Her favorite life quote was Everything will work out.

Survivors include many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.nbsp; She is also survived by her very special cousins: Mary Cacciatore, Bernice Stassi, Lucille Whiting and Catherine Berlage and her very dear friends, Josephine Larson and Lil Shipley.nbsp; Predeceased by her parents, husband Joe, infant sister Caterina, her brother Al and his wife, Mary Evelyn Bilardello, numerous aunts, uncles and best friend, Tootie Haley Fowler.The family would like to give very special thanks to the staff at Provena Cor Mariae, especially to Ashley, Mark, Mary Ann and Sarah who were with her through the various phases of her journey while she was at Provena Cor Mariae.nbsp; Also, thank you to OSF Hospice, especially to Cedi, Ed and Lori and to the staff of OSF Lifeline Ambulance for their kindness when they transported her on numerous occasions via wheelchair van and ambulance.nbsp;

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.Monday, October 22, 2012 in Saint. James Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerald P. Kobbeman officiating.nbsp; Burial in Calvary Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Mass at the church on Monday.nbsp; In lieu of flowers, Billies request was to have all memorials go to Saint James Catholic Grade School in Rockford.nbsp; Arrangements were completed by Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
