Charles "Chuck" F. Kuppe

Charles “Chuck” Francis Kuppe, passed away peacefully at home May 9, 2020 at the age of 93.

He was born September 9, 1926 in Beloit, WI. Married Patricia McArdle on May 7, 1949, and they were blessed to celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary just before his passing. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy seeing action in the South Pacific during WWII. As a veteran, it was important to him to fly the American flag every day. He was an avid outdoorsman and passionate golfer. The most important thing to him was his wife and family.

Chuck is survived by wife, Pat; children, Sister Mary Grace (Linda), Debra, Chuck, and Patricia (Abel) Castillo. He delighted in his grandchildren Brant (Hannah) Kuppe, Connor (Anne Marie) Kuppe, Grace Castillo (Parker) Cassell, Sarah Castillo, and Matthew Castillo and great-grandchildren, Holden and Adalyn Kuppe. He is also survived by his brother, John (Marilyn) Kuppe of Sun City, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. Family extends special thanks to OSF Hospice staff.

Due to Covid19, there will be no funeral service, but family hopes to hold a celebration of life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be considered to OSF Hospice of Rockford.
