Charles (Chuck) Otts passed away December 3, 2020 in his home town of Rockford, IL. He was born September 11, 1951 in Sulligent, AL, son of Lomax and Dean (Hankins) Otts.

Chuck graduated from Rockford East High and completed an associate degree from Rock Valley Junior College.

His surviving relatives include Mary (Rachel) Rubenstein, Amy Otts, Barbara Otts and granddaughter Evelyn Rubenstein; siblings Mickey Otts and Sybil (Paul) Perla.

Chuck was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He started his career as a tool and die maker at Woodward Governor in Rockford. Upon retirement, he ended his career at Rock Valley College as an instructor for nearly fifteen years, instructing those entering the tool and die industry.

He attended St. Bernadette Parish and served as usher for many years and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck also served on the committees for the Annual Golf Outing and the weekly Friday Fish Fry during Lent for St. Bernadette. His final achievement was attaining the rank of a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.
