Clara E. Klaas

Clara E. Klaas 86 of Rockford, was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday July 21, 2011 in Provena Cor Mariae. She was born March 19, 1925 in Stephenson County, IL, the daughter of John and Hedwig (Brandli) Untersee. She married Laverne Klaas on June 17, 1950. Clara was a good and loving mother, enjoyed her family, and was indeed proud of their many fine achievements Survivors include her Husband Laverne, Daughters Arden Julius and Mary Joyner, Sons, Palmer (Janet) Klaas and Craig (Jan) Klaas, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sisters, Hedy, Elsie, Rosemary and Brother Norman. Predeceased by her parents and two sisters Helen and Alice and four brothers, Karl, John Jr, Edwin and Julius Services at 1pm Monday July 25, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel. Burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeport. Visitation from 12pm until time of service Monday in the funeral home.
