Constance Yurgil

Constance Yurgil, 70, formerly of Schaumburg, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was born on January 3, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI.; the daughter of Conrad and Olga (Bruder) Feuersthaler. She graduated Bayview High School in 1959 and went to flight attendant/reservation school for Continential Airlines in Houston, TX, in 1960. Constance married Melvyn Yurgil on October 27, 1962. She worked as an administrative secretary for Conant High School until her retirement in 2001. Connie enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and was especially fond of the time she shared with her grandchildren. She was a PTA member of school district 54 and served as past president at Nathan Hale from 19831984. She was a den mother for cub scouts pack 199 and was an assistant soccer coach for the Schaumburg Athletic Association. Connie is survived by sons, Bradley (Leslie), David, and Garrick (Erika) Yurgil; sisters, Mary (Glen Roy), Sue (Fred), Anna (Jeff) and Joan; grandchildren, Amber, Hunter, and Evan, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, Melvyn; brother, Tom and sister, Carol. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Our Redeemers United Methodist Church 1600 W. Schaumburg Rd.
