Cozette F. Kissick

Cozette Kissick, 96, Rockford, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was born in Princeton, IL. on December 13, 1915; the daughter of Arthur and Bertha Abel. Cozette married Lloyd Kissick on July 10, 1946. Together they came to Rockford in 1954. Cozette loved nature, she enjoyed wildlife, the outdoors and working in her garden. She spent many years devoting herself to the children at Second Congregational Church in Rockford. Cozette is survived by her husband, Lloyd; son, Mike (Fran) Kissick; brother, Max Abel; sisters, Genevieve and Mary Ann Abel; granddaughter, Jennifer (Corey) Cash; greatgrandson, Clark Cash. Predeceased by daughter, Sandra Dewey; several brothers and sisters.Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
