Craig Michael Garwick

Craig Michael Garwick, 52, Loves Park, passed away Friday, October2, 2015, in his home. He was born Aug 15, 1963, in Rockford, the son of Warren and Mary (Hayes) Garwick. He was a 1981 graduate of North Boone High School. Craig married Stephanie Stralow on August 11, 2002. He was employed at Lube Express for 17 years and most recently worked for Schmeling Building Supply Inc. Craig was a friend to everyone and would help them in any way. He was a person who could fix anything.
Survived by his wife Stephanie; his daughter, Ashley; his brother, Scott (Sue) Garwick of Rockford, his sisters, Vicki (Gary) Flanders of Rockford, Traci (Marty) Melms of Roscoe, and Marci Jorgenson of Hastings, MN; several nieces and nephews including Gary (Tammy) Flanders of Rockton, Cheri (Jared) Barefield of Roscoe and Jeff (Jamie) Flanders of Rockton; his brother-in-law, Matthew (Dianna) Stralow of Loves Park and his mother-in-law, Susan Stralow of Loves Park. Craig was loved by his many friends and his extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Warren and Mary Garwick; his brothers, Mark and Todd Garwick.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford. Private family burial at a later date.
