Daniel K. Belcher

Daniel K. Belcher, 55, of Loves Park, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008, in SwedishAmerican Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 23, 1953 in Rockford, the son of Donald Sr. and Polli (King) Belcher. Attended Harlem High School. Formerly employed by Jamp;J Tree Service. Daniel was a wonderful son, brother, and friend to all. Survivors include his mother, Polli; brothers, Nick (Hilary) and Donald Jr. (DeDe) Belcher; sisters, Nancy (Thom) Corirossi, Melody (Tim) Balsiger, and Carol (Chuck) Steffan; great-aunt, Mabel Pedersen of Minnesota; close family friend, William Munz; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Donald Belcher, Sr. The family acknowledges with great appreciation the wonderful care at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Service and interment are private.
