David C. Moore, 67 of Conway, Ark and formerly of Rockford, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Conway Regional Health System after a long illness. Born June 21, 1942 in Carroll, Iowa, son of Raymond and Irene (Standley) Moore. United States Veteran serving in the Army as the voice of the Army Hour. David was a true family man who always put them first. He was a broadcaster for over 30 years and went on to work for and retire from AT amp; T as a central office technician in 2007. Some may know him by his Ham Radio call sign K0DST or as an avid sailor, a fearless pilot or his true loyalty to the Greenbay Packers. However you knew David, you knew he loved life, his family and those who surrounded him. Survivors include his wife, Judi Moore; children, Tony (Laurie) Steidler-Dennison, Marcy (Rod) Kuntz, Mark (Tiffany) Moore, Rachel (Moises) Mendoza, Greg (Nicole Bogda) Ricketts and Mike (Jenny Covalt) Ricketts; sister, Diana (Robert) Montgomery; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; niece, Nicole (John) Deubach and special friends, Gary and Marcia Askegaard. Preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Eric Scott Moore.



Funeral service Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Interment in Monroe Center Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, Sept. 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.. Visitation to continue Monday, from 10:00 to 10:45 in the funeral home.
