David E. Marsili

David E. Marsili, 82, of Rockford, IL, passed away at Bickford House on December 19, 2021. He was born in Rockford, Illinois to David Peter and Jennie (Villani) Marsili.

David worked for many years as a machinist for Rockford Clutch. He liked to do yardwork and home maintenance projects. David was a long distance runner who ran in many marathons who also enjoyed playing tennis. He loved having biscuits and gravy from the Cracker Barrel and liked watching movies, especially westerns with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. David enjoyed spending winters in the McAllen TX area and spending time with his special friend there, Jan.

David is survived by his children, David (Dorothy) Marsili, Crisandra (Theo) Makridis and Rhonda (Larry) Dobson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother, Ray (Deborah) Marsili, and sisters, Sandy Marsili and Donna Kurtenbach. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Scott Marsili.
