David E. Rush, Sr.

David E. Rush, Sr., Chopper, 51 of Rockford passed away in Knobel, Arkansas on May 16, 2008. Born June 23, 1956 in Rockford, the son of Clyde and Julia Ann (Potter) Rush. He loved to ride, loved to wrench and loved his ladies and not necessarily in that order. Survivors include his son David E. Rush, Jr. Brothers Raymond (Alice) Rush, Clyde Rush, Jr. and Timothy (Lynn) Rush. Sisters Joyce (Paul) Kai, Jacqueline Caldwell, Eileen (Kevin) Ahlgren, Pamela Soter, Robin Rush, numerous nieces and nephews and his special buds Dale Bowling, Gary Luttrelle, Steve Head and his special traveling companion Lucy. Predeceased by his parents, infant grandson David III, brothers Al and Lewis. Nephews Michael Kai and Jason Rush. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the family.
