David J. Mauk, 83, Roscoe, died Friday, March 25, 2011 in Swedish American Hospital.nbsp; Born June 6, 1927 in Rockford, son of David V. and Helene M. McKillip Mauk.nbsp; Graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1948 and from Drake University School of Pharmacy in 1952.nbsp; Married Charlotte A. Wessels on April 18, 1953.nbsp; David was a pharmacist in the Rockford area for a number of years.nbsp;
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; son, David G. Mauk, Roscoe; sisters, Marjorie (Charles) Owens, Machesney Park, Joan Gilbert, Hagerstown, MD and Anna Cooling, Waukesha, WI; brothers, Robert W. (Kay) Mauk, Ireland, Lewis J. (Kay) Mauk, Pecatonica and several nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. David Poust officiating.nbsp; Burial in Willwood Burial Park.nbsp; Express condolences at www,fitzgerafh.com.
