DELORES I. DELANEY, 91 ROCKFORD - Delores I. Delaney, 91, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born December 12, 1923, in Menomonie, WI, the daughter of Skognes and Lena (Kressin) Nordmoe. During her life she held different positions with various companies: Amerock, Nation Lock, Norton Health Care Center, National Building Services, and the Rockford Court House. She married Kenneth Delaney on December 5, 1952. Kenneth predeceased her in 1979. Delores enjoyed playing the organ, accordion, and listening to Polka and Waltz music. During her free time, she would volunteer with the Rockford Schools District and she joined a bowling league at Park Lanes. Most of all, she enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren. Survivors include son, Glenn Iverson of Florida; daughters, Jill (Wasfi) Alrababah and Karen Crosser; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband; infant daughter; and five siblings. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at Floral Lawn Cemetery, 835 Dearborn Ave, South Beloit, IL 61080, with the Rev. Randy Young officiating.
