Delores Wyatt

Delores Mary Wyatt, 82 of Rockford, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born September 29, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Benjamin and Emelia (Borowski) Jankowski. Married her loving husband, Harry Wyatt on Aug. 6, 1955 in Chicago. Worked for Banner Steel Company and retired in 1990. Delores was a faithful member of Forest City Baptist Church and was loved by all that knew her, she will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Arnie (Kasey) Berg of Rockford and Tom (Lucia) Wyatt of Chicago; grandchildren, Dawn (Kevin) Kuykendall, Jeff and Nicholas Berg, Kaitlin and Cole Wyatt; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Jared, and Jade Tschida and Madison and Mason Berg and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry in 1992; sisters, Irene Wedeking, Gertrude Jankowski and Lorraine Baker and her brothers, Ervin and Norbert Jankowski. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her best friend Mary, all the residents and staff at Christian Life and to her extended family at Forest City Baptist Church for all of the wonderful care and dedication they have shown to Delores. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Forest City Baptist Church, 4241 Pepper Drive, with Pastor Verlyn Swanson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mayfield, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials to Forest City Baptist Church. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel is assisting the family.
