Donna L. Arensdorf

Donna L. Arensdorf, 76, of Rockford, IL, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019.

Donna was born in Dubuque, IA on March 9, 1943, daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Eckness) Laughlin. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Zwingle, IA, Class of 1961. Donna was a lifelong member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Rockford. She loved traveling, gardening, playing cards and attending sporting events of her grandchildren. Most of all, Donna enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to honor Donna’s memory include her 3 children, Steve Arensdorf, Jody (Rob) Smith and Kim Morales; grandchildren, Andrew, Kristen, Jeremy, Justen, John, Sidney and Maddie; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, John; sisters, Karen, Debbie and Diane. She is predeceased by her parents; son, Jim; brother, Delbert; granddaughter, Lucy and nephew, Brandon. The family would like to give a special thank you to Heartland Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 3004 11th St, Rockford, IL 61109 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Memorials may be made to St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Donna’s name.
