Donna Veitch

Donna J. Veitch, 64, Stillman Valley, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013. She was born in Dubuque, IA. on July 6, 1948; the daughter of Ralph and Barbara (Wilgenbusch) Graham. Married Gary Veitch in Rockford on October 7, 1967. Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and to St. Mary Oratory. She taught religious education to the children and attended Mass daily, she was awarded Woman of the Year in 2010. Donna will be missed by those who knew her and by all who loved her.

Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary; 8 children, Mark, Quentin, Laurie (John) Thomalla, Zachary, Joshua (Melissa), Alison, Luke and Angelica Veitch; 15 grandchildren; several adopted children and grandchildren.

Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 in St. Mary Oratory, 517 Elm St. Visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave with recitation of the Rosary at 4:00.
