Doris Cynthia Urbanski, 60 Rockford Doris Cynthia Urbanski, 60 of Rockford died Saturday, October 27, 2012 suddenly of complications from surgery. Born August 4, 1951 in Rockford, IL to Walter and Doris (Dooley) Urbanski. Survivor of Polio in the 1950s. Graduated from Guilford High School in 1971. Worked at GC Electric in Rockford in the early 1970s for 7 years. Cindi became part of the Milestone Group Homes in 2004 and currently worked for Milestone Industries. Cindi enjoyed living with all her friends at Applewood and Crested Butte. Enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. listening to Country music and dancing. Cindi was very proud of being a Guilford Viking. The family is very thankful for the love and support shown for Cindi by the Milestone family and also our gratitude to the staff of OSF ST. Anthony Medical Center. Survivors, Mother and StepFather Doris and Del Calvert of Lees Summit, MO; Sisters; Kathleen (David) Blunt of Rockford and Andrea (Jon) Reinke of Carmel, IN; Niece Kathryn Reinke; Nephews, Christopher Blunt, Ryan Blunt and Jack Reinke. Predeceased by father Walter Urbanski. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Road with Pastor Mark Hagen officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 12:0 to 12:45 Tuesday, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Milestone Industries.
